The Secrets of the People’s Trunk
(Tajemnice Ludowego Kufra)
Commissioned and in collaboration with The National Institute of Rural Culture & Heritage in Warsaw. The purpose was to design and sketch nineteen original illustrations for a children's educational board game inspired by the Cartoonist Edward Lutczyn. My role was to recreate traditional Polish folk costumes from nine different ethnographic regions. The characters were created using traditional hand drawn line-work and inking.
The project was successfully completed & published in 2023. It was supported by The Ministry of Agriculture & Rural Development, Polish Ombudsman for Children, Polish TV & Radio channels for children.
